Collaboration
Always evolving and developing, this piece reflects the process and interconnected forms that occur within collaboration. Each part is crucial to every other; ideas connecting and supporting one another.
Like the threads of narrative, each strand pulls and draws the parts together to create an intricate weave of influences forming a whole, collaborative piece.
This piece was a commission as part of Cartwheel Arts IMPACT: Led by You conference in October 2016. The Methodologies exhibition was created by other arts for well-being practitioners working as a team for Cartwheel Arts.
Working with the 'Triangle' methodology that is used with participants, this piece is created as a stand-alone structure on which delegates contributed their own artwork, stories and response for others to add to. Over the course of the day the sculpture changed, formed new shapes and grew through others' collaborations.
